Experience
I am a bilingual tutor, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I attended Framingham State University in Massachusetts, and there I earned both a Business Administration degree and my license to teach Spanish. I have tutored a variety of subjects, though, and I have taught students ranging in age from elementary school students to high school students. I also have extensive experience working with students who have learning disabilities and other learning difficulties. I have helped these students in their literature, algebra, English, writing, Spanish, and general organization and study skills. Tutoring Spanish is a great joy of mine, and because I learned it as a second language, I know what the learning experience is like and the struggles students often face during the experience. I always strive to bring some fun and creativity into my lessons, and I find it makes learning easier. When not tutoring, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures. I also like to take photos, especially during my travels, and jog. Courses I tutor include Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3, Spanish 4, AP Spanish language, English, elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, and other math courses. I am always willing to work with ESL and special education students, as well.
